Situated on the bank of a large lake allows for de-stressing in utmost tranquillity and peace, and family times to be remembered.
Accomodation
The cottage has two comfortable en-suite double bedrooms and an upper deck with four single beds, all of which has beautiful views, a cosy lounge area with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. Linen and towels are provided, as well as electric blankets. Bring own towels for recreational purposes. TV and decoder provided, bring own smart card. Canoes are provided for use at own risk, but firewood can be bought on site. The Lapa is available for braais and campfire. The cottage is serviced upon departure. Additional servicing is available by arrangement and an additional fee. No fees are charged for either fishing or berry picking, as it is only for consumption on location.
Attractions
The historic Kerkenberg and Retiefspass, Sterkfonteindam, Lost Valley, Geluksburg and Spioenkop Battle Field are places of real interest off the beaten track and worth a visit should you wish to explore. The Northern Berg, Clarence, and the newly discovered (by the adventurous tourist) Verkykerskop are within easy range. We would be more than willing to assist in planning these outings, or in organizing a visit to the Annies jam factory, or the farm museum. Warm hospitality and a beautiful countryside await our guests.
