Excelsior is situated between Standerton and Vrede right next to the Klip river.

ACCOMODATION

Our accomodation consists of two units:

1. Little Canyon (overlooking the Klip river) - 8 sleeper, self catering with two double rooms of which one is en-suite. There is also an openplan sleepdeck with 4 single beds.
Inside and outside braai areas. Sitting-, Dining- and Kitchen areas.
Undercover parking for two vehicles.
With no electricity available, guests make use of our oil lamps, gas geyser, -fridge and -stove.
Picturesque hiking trails.

2. Singing Valley Rondavels - 6 sleeper self catering unit with two private rooms. One with a double + a single bed and the other with 3 single beds. One bathroom to share. Outside braai area. Sitting-, Dining- and Kitchen areas.
220V Electicity available.
Kitchen equipped with 2 plate stove, electric frying pan and microwave oven.
Swimming pool, lovely walks and views.

DIRECTIONS

From Standerton 23km on Vrede road, turn left at Platrand sign.
From Vrede 34km on the Standerton road, turn right at Platrand sign.
Continue for 3.8km and turn right at Excelsior sign, after 4.8km turn right and continue for 1km to arrive at singing valley rondavels.
